A challenge for me in September

So another forum in which I belong has started a thread called "Single in September" with the idea being to take only one photo every day of the month using only one lens. I signed up so I think this may be my Ironman Canada if I can last the month doing it. I am going to start a thread in General photography and add to it as I try to do the month.
Feel free to join me for the challenge if you feel like it...it would be awesome to see if anyone else feels like participating. I am curious to know how or if my photography will change by the end of the month if I last it.
Wish me luck...I will need it for sure!

Where does the luck come in? Trying to take a shot every day for a month or trying to use a single lens for a month? I've tried a Project 365 - twice - and didn't make it. A month sounds pretty easy at this point

I'd be willing to join you. Start a new thread tomorrow with your first shot and I'll be happy to match you to give you a "shootin' buddy" as long distance as I am

I agree about the 365...but I am a multi- image junkie who owns several lenses so it will be really hard for me to take only one shot...especially if I see something interesting and commit to only using one lesn...my 18-55 kit lens I will use close up lenses and filters if necessary as it is allowed.
I will start a thread tomorrow in General Photography...Anybody else in? I think we may have some fun here!

Well I've only got 2 decent lenses - the nifty fifty and my new 70-300. It's easy for me to leave the 70-300 on.

Well, I'm only half out. I'll have a shot a day on one lens... just not "only one" shot per day. That would kill me at this point I think

I don't want to be contradictory to your challenge but I can't see how limiting yourself to one shot per day improves your photography. Is it forcing you to spend more time thinking about the shot? It just seems cruel to me!

In any event, we are a group of two so far...
