Default Doc...I can't walk!!!

So I have a abscessed tooth, Yesterday I was ready to meet my maker if that's what it took to stop the pain I'm looking at three days of antibiotics before a root canal on Saturday. I took one antibiotic and the pain was gone in four hours. I never do antibiotics, the last time was over twenty years ago When I slept with a dubious woman My body seems to respond well to these drugs I believe because I don't overuse them. Anyway, the dentist asked if I had a fear of the chair..."Damned Straight!" I replied. He gave me Atavan. When I got home and the pain subsided I looke at the bottle containing the 10 Atavan pills. 2mg each. What's funny about this is you must have someone pick you up after the dental work has been done. For consuming a 2mg Atavan? I'm a child of the seventies, we won't even discuss the drugs we did recreationaly, they would put a horse out! I'm going to pass on the heavy dose of Atavan because 20 mg of Valium didn't cut it on my last dentist visit, and I'm not going to wait for someone to pick me up after consuming what for me would be no more effective than a big old Guinness

2mg of Lorazepam is pretty heavy. Now, it is also a benzodiazepine, but it's not exactly the same as Diazepam. And 2mg of Lorazepam does not compare to 2mg of Diazepam. That 20mg is more likely to be a good comparison. But still, it is a different drug...
Now, unless you've been a regular user of benzodiazepine drugs, it should work...

But don't drive then...

This reminds me of a play we went to last night, the youth at my son's high school drama class rewrote Romeo and Juliet to a Dr. Seuss theme it was great.

Adavan helps somewhat. Just need to take a few of them through out the morning...

I have a prescription that I use from time to time for Percacet. They rock...

Last year, I broke 3 ribs. They helped a lot. I had to DJ the night after breaking them and I popped one, brought a couple with me, forgot about taking one, it hadn't really kicked in yet, had a couple double gin's and popped another one. Half hour later I was wrecked. According to a number of people, one of my best sets ever...

I need to be really careful with them though. I have an extremely addictive personality.

Had two root canals in a space of three hours today. Told the Doc I wasn't going to use the Ativan but secretly began taking one every night before surgery and it all worked well. They didn't have to insist I be picked up after the ordeal And I was well relaxed
