I tried to find something of mine that I thought was an interesting idea so I hope you don't find the shot too "un-inspiring"
I've zipped up the jpg and raw for those who want to play and below is an example of the shot.

Had a quick crack at it ... a bit of brightening up and contrast via curves tool, a some selective blurring and some subtle eyes for the statue

Nice Mad Aussie. I like the way you've drawn focus to the center snow piles. I've got to admit tho, those eyes are creeping me out.
I've decided that what was bugging me the most about the original shot was the stucco. Just too overpowering for a background. what do you think of this? Photoshop, way more effective than youtube at killing time.

This is a monster improvement compared with its original. Excellent PP here![]()

I agree the background was too busy and competed with the main subject. That's why I chose to further blur the background and then make the snow, plants and the statue sing a bit louder.
I didn't like the way the statue was stuck way over in the corner so I opted to get rid of it all together. Here's my take on it not that I'm much in the PP department.
