More personal challenges this Saturday... Trying to stretch my comfort zone again. Do they work? Are they street photography, do they capture a moment or should they be consigned to the electrical waste bin of life!

Be honest, be critical I am here to learn!

hmmm .... ok ...
#1 ... could have benefited from showing all of the gal, including her footwear, and maybe crop the left side tighter, I'd suggest close the the wheel of the bus. This would make it easier to focus on the gal - left side is not contributing anything to the image.
#2 ... again, partially cut off on the people. Try to get them fully nto the frame, you can always crop later, if you do not like it. The expressions are great, though, and the lighting works for me as well ...
#3 ... maybe a more frontal approach would have worked better here, showing the rest of the bike, which seems to carry something big. Leaves the audience wondering what it is ....

overall exposure and sharpness are fine, so technically they are ok. Just work on your composition a bit.

Matt makes good points- but I do like the expressions you caught. Each photo tells a story. Love the middle one.

Before I read any of the replies I thought about each one. Then I looked and Matt posted my thoughts on each one. The only thing I can add is that my personal favorite is the first one. It's great except for the missing foot. You are definitely going in the right direction.

I appreciate the feedback, numbers 2 and 3 were very much taken on the move and I had little time to think about the composition the red clothes caught me eye.
The girl on the bench is holding her passport, they are wine colored over here, I liked her expression, very pensive. I think MattK is correct and it could benefit from a different crop, I may revisit it.

I find taking pictures of people a bit difficult, especially candid one like these. I will either get more comfortable doing it or give up trying.
