Very nice, I love the color in the sky.

I use Canon gear for reliability. Canon lenses for sharpness and Nikon cameras for fun.
Hmmm interesting choice on the sky, I respectfully disagree - though i am OOZING sweet jealousy because of your location.
Imo, although the sky is pretty here, and i do like the shot overall, this shot is not about the sky and the sky is stealing a lot of our attention here due to its pretty colour.
Personally, i think you'll be surprised to find that this shot may well be stronger, if you crop out the sky, all of it.
Then it really does become more focused on the Mekong and its activities.
Hope that helps -- Marko

Good point, Marko. While I did find the sky very pretty something seemed at odds to me. When I scroll the window down and cut out the sky it becomes a little more obvious. The pink sky screams sunrise or sunset but the light on the boats and people says 10am to 2pm or something like that. There aren't many shadows that I can see but what I can see makes me feel like it's the middle of the day. It is often tough to figure out how to make a bland sky more interesting and what you've done is kind of cool but I think it confused me more than anything in this particular case. I'd love to see a larger version cropped just below the horizon.
Personally, I do not like the pink sky at all. Looks fake, and the pink washes into the water. I would have converted this to monochrome, because the colours in it are not very strong to begin with. Also seems to me that the horizon line is a bit tilted to the left. Minor thing, though.
~~ Rule of thirds is for whimps ~~I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 67° water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?
I find this a tad overexposed, but thats just my preference talking.
I am jealous too of your location. :(
