Ugh, one for the "ugly" Dec. assignment?
If I saw that I wouldn't pee for a week. Anywhere.

This a Rainforest Huntsman spider, and, believe it or not, not a particularly large one. I've seen one of these things that was literally as large as a dinner plate with it's legs spread out. That's around 280mm ( 11 inches).
This one was about 150mm (6 inches) across I guess with a body length maybe 40 - 50mm (1.5 - 2 inches).
My sister found it when she wanted to pee and flat out refused! My wife Leanne however was busting and decided to hell with it, she needed a pee and did her business regardless.
I attached 2 iphone photos to show the relevant size.

Even being a wee spider - it is pretty cool to say the least. Thanks for sharing the pic plus the scale pics too.... besides seeing the really cool spider, I could not help but hopethe users of the loo had something to 'clean up" with as the dispenser is quite bare.

This is a kid's nursery rhyme...
"Little Miss Leanne,
Sat on the can,
Doing her business her way,
Along came a spider,
It crawled down beside her,
And frightened Miss Leanne away!!!"
To tell the truth, that public toilet scares me more than the spider!!!
The version of that nursery rhyme I know goes like this ..
"Little Miss Muffet
sat on her tuffet
eating her curds and whey.
Along came a spider
that sat down beside her
and scared Miss Muffet away."
