A question- is that part of a ribcage wrapped around the spine? It kind of looks like a metal coil of some kind.

It's only a ribcage. It's almost full sekeleton.

Interesting shot. They use animal bones as stepping stones?

Very nice capture, Yisehaq. It takes the viewer right into a story, a vignette of a life we cannot even imagine here. Still, you can see a child's ingenuity and curious mind at work.
