The entire decor this year (including all of the gifts!) rests in this photo, uploaded from my cell phone. The snazzy, ginormous shadow on the wall was to accentuate how important the decor is. The lighting used to achieve this wonderful affect was with my husband's cell phone app flashlight at 60% -- Just the right amount of light to do what I wanted to do. (Just to add, the corner is pretty dark.) Please, feel free to add your holiday decor to this thread - but - two rules - photo(s) must be taken with your cell phone and no post processing.Hope to see lots of pretty things here!

I misread the instructions at first. I thought you wanted us to add decorations to your tree. I was gonna add "Elf on a Shelf" to the bottom of your tree. I'm at work, so I will take pics with my phone in the morning.
ya just gotta love minimalism ....
~~ Rule of thirds is for whimps ~~I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 67° water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?
We (or actually my wife) go just the opposite of your "Charlie Brown" tree (which I love BTW). I would add pictures of outside, but it is storming today

It's depression, actually. I used to go over the top like Antiquetiger- donated it all to the Discovery Shop. (Akin to Goodwill but proceeds go towards cancer research.) This little tree has been used for 3 Christmases now. For the past many years, we only gift our grandchildren a little something then use the rest of what we would have spent on a needy family. We send our gift anonymously. The family this year was a single mom and her two small children who had to abandon their rental home - they had gotten quite ill, a "mystery" illness. Turns out, the house was full of black mold.
Thank you!!! My wife wants to do "grown up" decorations, with grown up, high dollar tree etc, but I won't let her. We have two small ones 8 & 5. I told her when they stop believing in Santa, she could do it. It's my master plan. When they stop believing in Santa, she won't want to decorate the house anyway, saving me $1000's in the decorations she wants to do. LOL
