Walking through a small town yesterday afternoon I found this, a beautiful glass blown vase with Aboriginal art by Tina Cooper of Illume Creations, Montville, Sunshine Coast, Qld. The shop was full of amazing samples of Tina and her employees artwork.
I only got a few shots before I was told they don't allow photos of the work. I'll never understand that attitude in cases like this as they are robbing themselves of exposure that could help sell their art. But there you go.

Wonderful art, and well captured, MA. It is a shame the artists shy away from this; however, I ran into a similar situation and the reason given to me was: we do not want anyone to imitate our art.

Wonderful shots, I ran into the same thing at the glass museum, no photos except in the live demo area. Some of the stuff is simply amazing, I never knew they did with glass.
