LICK THIS

Contrary to popular belief, we aren't totally naive about ice. Most kids got their hands stuck to the sides of the freezer at time or another and learnt that lesson

Also, I grew up in NZ. Not as cold as Canada but we had to scrap an inch of ice off the windscreen in the winter before my parents could drive me to soccer quite often. And then, before the game started, we had to all run around the field stomping the ice back into the ground!
