Oh, my! I haven't been to a rollerskating rink since junior high. Seemed like they all had canned organ music, and one of the staff had to run a round of "Hokey Pokey" every couple of hours. Poor skate, and poor rink. They were a lot of fun.

Hey Quiet, I have never been to a roller skating rink! When I was very young, I attended "Y" camp, directly across from this rural roller rink. Late in the evenings we could hear the loud music and the yelling of the crowds, and smell the food. I never did get up the nerve to sneak over to the rink like the older kids after most were sleeping. Now some 50 years later it lays in ruin and decay. I will post more shots soon as I have permission to go back for more pics, as long as I don't go into any buildings. The new land owner is very kind and trusting to allow me access. I thanks him - jimmy

I was wondering the same thing as well. But you do what you do quite well. Good job.
