I just listened to the Orton interview episode and couldn't wait to get home to try it. My first attempt, in which I didn't really follow the instructions turned out a little like "A Scanner Darkly" which was a cool effect in its own right. I'll post the link, not the photo here.
Then, I followed the instructions (gotta know the rules before you can break 'em, right Marko?) and came up with this. I kind of like it.

For me this works for me well. Very good colours.

I quite like this shot, subtle colours, nice lines and composition - Nice feel, well done!
