Took this shot about a week ago. It's a very famous Montreal landmark. The vignetting was an accident on the first shot, but i liked it so it's on purpose for this shot and about 5 others. Feel free to comment/critique on the vignetting or any other aspect.
    Thx - marko

oh that is so cool! I love the angle and the vignette! Can you give more details on the structure? I really know very little about it.

    Cheers bambi and iggy -
Wikipedia always rocks for extra info as they usually know way more than I.... lol. But in a sentence, it's a geodesic dome built by R Buckminster fuller and it was built for Expo 67....These days it's a museum.

Excellent shot! I like the vignetting because it curves around like the dome does. Love the contrast created by the backlighting too.

I'm normally not a fan of vignetting, I think it is overdone. However I really like it in ths image as the vignette follows the curve of the dome

Very cool shot Marko. Love the use of the foreground as in the snow below and the trees above all reaching in to draw the eye to the main subject. Very well executed.
