I use Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket.

I find Picasa to be a bit of a pain. Photobucket isn't as popular as Flickr so I use PB to put up less interesting shots there and save my better photos for Flickr.

Never used Smugmug ... but do very much like the way it displays the photos and gives quick easy access to the exif data.

I use Flickr & SmugMug for different reasons. I like the presentation that SmugMug affords. It really does make even the most pedestrian photo look better. Flickr on the other hand is more social and allows for much larger file sizes than the basic SM membership. There is no freebie for SM like there is for Flickr however and that's what's annoying me now. 12mb per file is a bit skimpy if you ask me. Esp when unedited, my middle of the road mpx camera regularly spits out files larger than that.

I use Snapixel No maximum file size, if you apply for a sellers account you get free unlimited storage.

you can sell some stock images at the same time as host/backup all your other images.

I use different ones for different reasons.

Photo community sharing - Flickr
Group sharing or events - Picasa Web
Family and Friends - Facebook

I have found that much like chat clients in the last 10 years, you can't reach your entire audience in one venue and you end up with MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ (if you can remember that far back), etc.

Ive used photobucket and DeviantArt extensively. Deviantart has no max file size that I have ever found so I use that mainly for my portfolio worthy photography and use pb for quick snaps
