    Smile hi there

    new to the forum and i am just beginning to learn about my new purchase,i am a senior with no expierence with gadgets,so the camer was a major leap for me,its a pentax p30 slr,and i need to learn about all the functions before i can take photos,i understand its an old camera and not digital,but thats ok,i will be more than happy to just take half decent pictures.thx

    Welcome, Len!

    It's not about the gadgets, it's what you do with them that counts! One of the nice things about this place is it's not about endlessly talking about gear, the focus is clearly on the pictures. No one cares whether it was taken on a top of the range ultra modern digital camera, or an old Brownie, as long as the images are compelling...

    And if you're not sure about something, do feel free to ask and the more experienced here will surely help you out.
