    Default Need a Little Help

Not too sure about these. I went out to catch a sunrise and the fog off the river was everywhere. I thought this would add to the pics but i'm not too sure on the outcome here. This is a fast moving river and the fog was on the move swirling around pretty good. The scenes arent too too bad but the sun shining thru the fog does not look right to me. The last pic is just a view downstream with the sunrise at my back.
Any advice in a situation like this?

Third and last one are best for me.Third one is nice exposed.I will try only to soften a little like contrast on -30 and clarity on -70.

I'd toss the first two ... nothing there to attract me at all.

I really like the next 3. For Shot 3 it may be possible to process a bit more out of that and really get it to pop.

Interesting set of sunrise pictures. The third is my favorite as well, showing the most sky and river, with few distractions from the trees. Plus the sun is fully up so the fog is diffusing the light the most.

Thanks guys! It sounds like the issue I'm seeing may be in the PP then. The photos look pretty much as I remember the scene during the session but to my eye the sun in the fog does not, it looks a little "smudged" so to speak. I'll have at it again in PP. More learning in the works!

That's not surprising AB. Sometimes the camera just can't reproduce what we see.
