    I find the rock in the front a bit distracting, but other than that it's pretty okay for me

    Yeah, I've learned a lot since I took this one. Also, I was shooting with a Kodak P&S with pretty much NO control over exposure levels. Composition wise the rock is annoying and the sky is blown out. I'm going to wait until I get my DSLR (saving for it now) and head out to this spot again and see if I can do better.

    All that being said, I still like this one.

    You call that 'Nova Scotia'??? There isn't one lobster pot in that scene. Go back and try again!

    For me it's the blown out sky that's the killer here. It CAN be chopped right off though (including the top house) to save the image imo. For me the rock is not a big distraction.

    That's OK. I was critiquing my own Point taken though. I guess I just wanted to show one of my favourites though most of my favourites have issues as I've been learning from all of Marko's podcasts and all the reading I've been doing lately.
