    Default Cold Sunrise

Haven't been around in a well do to my wife passing last fall. But pick up my camera this morning and headed down to the waterfront for sunrise.
It was pretty cold with mist sitting on the open water passed the breakwall.

Very nice, love the golden glow.

So sorry to hear of your wife passing.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Sorry to hear of your loss, XPWizard. :(

As for this sunrise, it's absolutely lovely. A slight nod to the second image.

That's a very nice warm looking sky for the cold you've been experiencing. Add my condolences for you loss.

Please accept my condolences XP - I'm so sorry.

In terms of this set - love the bright yellow sky and rising sun in shot 2.
If the shot were mine, I'd probably do a little extra PP on the water to bring out about 15-20% more detail.. might not be a bad thing here. I might also take a good inch and a half off the bottom. That's just my take though - still lovely as is.

    Thanks Marko.

I tried a little rework on shot 2 and came up with this.

I'm very sad to hear of your loss, XP. You have my condolences. My favourite of your images is the first one in the set. I wonder what it would look like with Marko's processing suggestions.

Quite like the shots the way they are. Love the colours and the mood they set. Well done.

I too want to add my condolences for your loss. Losing a life partner is a very sad thing. I hope that pursuing your photography hobby will help you in the healing process.
