    Default Lavender

We ripped out some old lavender plants last week and my son salvage one of the flower heads. I was bored last night a messed around with some shots. I definitely need a macro lens. I shot these with my 70-200f/2.8, which is a fabulous lens, but the minimal focal distance is too long. I shot these on a tripod using live view.

I also wish I had a bunch of these flowers

    and another.

    Thanks Marko.

I have recently discovered a lavender farm nearby. Thinking of visiting when in full flower. I can just imagine fields of purple.

Nice shots there AntZ! I can almost smell them! Wishing we could get "smellavision" on this site right about now!
