    Wow, there is nothing wrong with your images here, Greg, I love the buttercup and forget-me-not ones. The bokeh is wonderful on those.

    I have to say that youre exposure is looking good. No highlights, which I tend to get in flower shots with the sun. Drives me nuts!

    this is funny, I was in Cali last week and didn't know what any of the flowers I shot were called. now that I'm home and processing, I found that your "buttercup" is really a Johnny Jump Up or a similar kind of violet. I just posted a shot of them to smugmug. Kinda weird.

    anyway...I like the shadows on the crocus. gives it depth.

    Thanks now I know more about it I'd usually call it a yellow one

    I can see why it would be from the violet family having those dark bands.
