Handheld moon

So I'm thinking, why do I have to shoot the moon at night? On a late winters day at two in the afternoon I see as much detail as I ever saw at night. I figure I'll shoot it and deal with all the blue in post:D The advantage it seemed to me was that I could shoot it hand held at 1/500. So I boosted the blacks in PS RAW editor then crushed the blues in PS. Just a stab at a cheating night shot with less fuss :laughing:
