Long exposure

I dont have my manual (im borrowing the camera...indefinately ;D )

And the controls for this camera is very different from my snap shot camera.

I need to know what to set to make the exposure time longer.

I have an Olympus e-300

set your camera on manual mode.
Choose long shutter speeds like 1 second, 2 seconds, 8 seconds etc. OR set it to bulb and with a cable release keep the shutter open as long as you like.

make sure your camera is on a tripod.
