The level 2 assignment this month is creative bokeh. My interpretation of bokeh (selective focus using a larger aperture to create out of focus zones).

this isn't necessarily a creative use of bokeh, but I shot several specifically looking for this level of 'oof', leaves still recognizable, but not enough to warrant another look.

Nice photos so far everyone!

here's another where I wanted enough DoF to get the first two flowers in focus, but leave the rest OOF. Oh how I love DoF preview!

During a very damp and foggy hike through a conservation area I almost walked right into this branch:

Nice capture Lizardqing. But 3 things are in focus to me. Face, hands, and cleavage. Where would you guess my eyes go to first. :o My entry's coming soon. I have a lot of bokeh but wouldn't call much of it creative.

I'm a little confused about this category this month because I thought we did selective focus just a couple of months ago but based on other's posts I'll add a couple of my own.

Hope none are offended by this, as it was all in fun actually. (if so, please delete). My friend here at work wanted to see how to do shallow dof on her camera, so was showing her how to use aperture for this. Thought it actually came out kind of interesting.

Nicely done :)

here is my example of Bokeh, also had a lens flare going on here, I recently re-visited this fall photo walk and played with some filters and found one I really liked.
