A long, steep hike yesterday led me up to a high mountain fire lookout in the Highwood Range. I met Laszlo who lives there about three months of the year. The fire risk is low right now so he didn't have much to do except offer me tea and a guided tour of the facility and the area. The 360° view is stunning.
