A long, steep hike yesterday led me up to a high mountain fire lookout in the Highwood Range. I met Laszlo who lives there about three months of the year. The fire risk is low right now so he didn't have much to do except offer me tea and a guided tour of the facility and the area. The 360 view is stunning.

Lovely shots all, but I particularly like the isolation feeling I get from the windsock pic.

EdG, Iguanasan, Lizardqing, Hillbillygirl and XPWizard: thanks for the compliments, and glad you enjoyed the photos. It was an excellent day, and I'm planning my next hike already.
