Yeah, it is dated 1973. It is very Ikea before Ikea was cool!!!!

It's still contemporary Russian room furniture. Give me a little time to translate, it's pretty "smuged" looking (poor stamping)

the top part is "M M P RSFSR" (RSFSR is also what the USSR was called there (You know, that cyrillic CCCP was really SSSR)

then "ROSMUZPROM" (ROS=Russian MUS (whatever that is) PROM=Industry)

The main stamp though looks like Fabrika (something-shinykh) instrumentov "Zarya" (Zarya is the name of the place that made these)

the rest is really hammered, though I can make out some
