Hi members,

The level 2 assignment this month is Hadouken Photography which seems to me is basically 2 or more people pantomiming an action shot and freezing that action.

Here is a link to Hadouken images (https://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1280&bih=939&q=Hadouken+Photography&oq=Hadouken+Photography&gs_l=img.3..0j0i24.2243.2243.0.3994.1.1.0.0.0.0.87 .87.1.1.0....0...1ac.1.23.img..0.1.87.qcabEz6twJg) to give those who have never heard of it a better idea.
here's a link to a Video done by digitalRev Tv to inspire you further. How to do "Hadouken" Photography - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paqe3pQIiv0)

Ok then - Who will post first

I guess it's only fitting that I post first since I suggested it. One of the reasons I suggested it is because you have to go out an make the image. You can't just stumble upon it while you are out for a walk. I was hoping to challenge everyone to get out and create the image. Imagine it in your mind and make it happen.

Here is my first attempt with my son and a friend. I have another idea in mind that I hope I can make happen in the not too distant future.

I played around with it this evening. The light was way too low, so I could not get my camera to speed. This is just a practice (mostly to see how my actresses would do) and by no means the final product

I like the play in your take AT - nice!

Sort of a copy of what's been done so far but here's mine.
(I have another idea coming)

Awesome AT and Marko! See, level two should be a bit more of a challenge. I hope others will jump in and try it out too... come on, gang!

Nicely done, everyone! AT, I think the slower shutter speed actually worked out well.

Going out shooting with some photographer friends tomorrow night--maybe I can recruit them...

We had a lot of fun shooting this, which made up for the photo itself...

Glad to see we had a bunch of people participate this time around. I really liked that in this challenge you had to go out and make it happen rather than just get lucky walking by the "right" scene. Here's my other idea that I mentioned in my first post. Waited until the last day but I still made it! :)

Well done Iggy.

Those guys must be your brothers, they look just like you.

I didnt attempt this challenge as I didnt have any willing models. I didnt consider selfies. Great thinking outside the equilateral parallelogram.
