This was what/who the http://www.photography.ca/Forums/animals-mammals-birds-insects-etc/21383-big-ram.html was running toward.
I thought I might get a head butt moment but this guy submitted to the other one.

I'm with Jason on this! Amazing sets of images from this encounter. I gotta say it again, the background, tones, composition, exposure, perfect shutter speed (just to show a little movement in the front hoof, but yet still very sharp everywhere else)...all of this just put these images over the top!

+ 1 - All of the images you have shown of the ram have been impressive. The background works so well

Many thanks RM Mike and Jason. I thought it was a tad oversharp (been bugging me) so I gave a quick edit in case it doesnt show on the original....won't let me edit..

This version is better to my eye - I agree, the previous version was oversharpened.

With all the falling snow, it was hard to tell that it was oversharpened, but you managed to make an excellent picture even better with the new edit.
