I have a love /hate thing for Slate magazine. In this case I will forgive them some transgressions; :)

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston presents photos by Gordon Parks of black Americans during segregation. (http://www.slate.com/blogs/behold/2015/01/18/the_museum_of_fine_arts_boston_presents_photos_by_ gordon_parks_of_black.html?wpisrc=obnetwork)

Thanks for the post JAS. Some wonderful photos there.

I remember one of the very first photography books I ever bought back in the early 80s (The Joy of Photography by Eastman Kodak staff) had photos by Gordon Parks (amongst others). They obviously made a lasting impression as I still remember them.

I have recently borrowed from the library "The Great LIFE Photographers" The Great LIFE Photographers: The Editors of LIFE, John Loengard, Gordon Parks: 9780316097932: Amazon.com: Books (http://www.amazon.com/The-Great-LIFE-Photographers-Editors/dp/0316097934). I recommend it to anyone who wants to be inspired.
