2032520326 This composite was prompted by Antiquetiger's challenge to redo an old image. I sort of liked the cloud and water shot although it's pretty "blah by itself, so I used it as a background to the shell and buddha. The shell was included to emphasize the buddha. Incidentally, I photographed the shell with my Epson scanner.

It is always fun to put these together, and you have done a commendable job Jim.

Not sure it is to my tastes (but am I often accused of having no taste, so don't be offended )

Looks like good Postprocessing to my eye! Not sure it needed the shell though.

20331 Thank you Runmonty, Marko. You are spot on Marko, as they say in your part of the woods the shell is perhaps "un peu trop". My usual style is shooting a la Cartier-Bresson, trying to snap at the right moment. However I do get mesmerized by the almost magical layered images Photoshop allows - whether the results are magical or have merit, that's another matter. It is always nice, actually in my view necessary, to receive comments - one should not edit one's own work. At this point in time I have't really decided whether the comp, either one, does anything for me. I will look at in a few weeks and keep or delete,

Cool. Kinda reminds me of the city of Braavos in Game of Thrones! :)
