This composite was prompted by Antiquetiger's challenge to redo an old image. I sort of liked the cloud and water shot although it's pretty "blah by itself, so I used it as a background to the shell and buddha. The shell was included to emphasize the buddha. Incidentally, I photographed the shell with my Epson scanner.

Thank you Runmonty, Marko. You are spot on Marko, as they say in your part of the woods the shell is perhaps "un peu trop". My usual style is shooting a la Cartier-Bresson, trying to snap at the right moment. However I do get mesmerized by the almost magical layered images Photoshop allows - whether the results are magical or have merit, that's another matter. It is always nice, actually in my view necessary, to receive comments - one should not edit one's own work. At this point in time I have't really decided whether the comp, either one, does anything for me. I will look at in a few weeks and keep or delete,
