Hi members

This month's level 2 photo assignment is 2 seconds exposures which means the shutter speed needs to be exactly 2 seconds.

Assignments should be posted right here in this thread.

Okay then who will post first?

Level 1 assignment is here. (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/photo-assignments/23841-may-2016-photography-assignment-heat.html)

Really like the motion of the saw Risacher.

For this assignment I dusted of my camera that I haven't had out of the camera bag for a while.

Really well done risacher and RM!!!

At - yours are nice, but the intended goal was to show movement.....

Thanks! I learnt a that is is no simple challenge to keep a black backdrop mostly free of dust in a woodshop!

Really like the way the light reflections from above the table add to the sense of motion. Very cool and imaginative. But a question: how many shots did it take you until you got this one? I somehow imagine you had to be very patient.

Thanks MB. Probably about 15 shots in total. I started off with the camera placed more overhead, which yielded some interesting results, but not as dramatic. This one was only the second shot after I moved down to the lower angle. All were done on 10 sec timer before running to the other end of the table. The secret was the timing and strength of the shot (not too hard), and setting up the brightly coloured balls closest to the camera.

Much better image for the assignment Shinnen.

Here's Mine - Metro Beaudry Montreal

Nice! Great metro choice, it's very Sci-Fi. I think I'd like to see the dingy side (the pealing paint) made to look a little more sinister, but otherwise I love it!

Ok, we are in Disney World until next week and I didn't bring my computer, but I have a couple 2 sec exposures I will post late next week (new month). They have motion in them now.

I know I'm a little late for this post, but I've been very busy moving and getting my house ready for sale. The assignment says 2 sec. I'm taking this as meaning 2 sec or longer.
This is the view from my new apartment balcony. By the way this is 8 sec.

p.s. I will try and get caught up on commenting on others pics this week.
