Caught in the storm

Thursday I decided to see if I could find a lichen covered rock I'd seen. Stopped part way across the bridge, just to get a couple of photos of the river looking moody. And a storm of hail hit. Yes, the front filter got wet, it came in that fast. The wind was high enough to make the hail a sting your face experience, and even when I turned my back to it I could feel it on the back of my coat (I wear a Swedish Army surplus coat - heavy wool, weighs several pounds). The hail got down the back of my neck and into my boots. It was absolutely glorious. :clap:

Wow ... very cool! Love that 2nd shot. Those ducks don't seem to give a rats!

Those are geese. I think the ducks were smart enough to go into hiding. More than we can say about me or the golfers, isn't it?
