    Default Caught in the storm

Thursday I decided to see if I could find a lichen covered rock I'd seen. Stopped part way across the bridge, just to get a couple of photos of the river looking moody. And a storm of hail hit. Yes, the front filter got wet, it came in that fast. The wind was high enough to make the hail a sting your face experience, and even when I turned my back to it I could feel it on the back of my coat (I wear a Swedish Army surplus coat - heavy wool, weighs several pounds). The hail got down the back of my neck and into my boots. It was absolutely glorious.

Wow ... very cool! Love that 2nd shot. Those ducks don't seem to give a rats!

Those are geese. I think the ducks were smart enough to go into hiding. More than we can say about me or the golfers, isn't it?
