Scary looking bird! Looks like something from outer space.
Love the colors, especially the nice orange bill in front of the green background. Well done. Just promise me you keep the critter there ...
He is a nice looking goose! A change from our usual suspects. Nice capture!
What a cute little guy. I can almost feel the texture of his head.
Thanks, Matt, JAS, and QuietOne. I was happy that he decided to just sit a couple feet away and let me take a few shots without really moving. So you can't notice the editing I did? Or can you?
very nice Iggy. He's a cool looking bird for sure.
no I can't see the editing. What did you do?
Thanks.
I'll post the image I started with when I get home tonight but what happened was that there is a fence between him and I and while I tried to shoot through the holes this shot, which was my favourite, had two grey out of focus bars going through his head which I removed with Gimp.
Lol he looks he has a turkey neck!
Cool shot Ig...I love the colours.
Thanks, casil.
I was in the Gardens andI did see your goose but I didn't see you. So one happy and one sad maybe next time ;-)
Here's what I started with...

Thanks, Bambi and QuietOne. This was pushing my PP skills to the max! :)
Very nice job on the PP Iggy. Looks like he was either half asleep, or very angry, hard to tell. Nice capture either way.
Toulouse Goose?
nice capture Iggy!
Thanks, edG.
I have no idea what kind of goose it is, HBG. I'm not that well schooled in geese and there are no new signs up to inform me. And though it may look like it, he was quite active. It was a challenge to get a decent shot as he was moving around quite a bit which is why the one decent shot I got had fence wire going through his head ;)
Great portrait shot, vg lighting.
Thanks, OWLP! Cheers :)
