Taking shelter

Okay, I'm amazed I got anything at all. I spotted this little guy Monday. It was raining; the thunder had just stopped a few minutes before. The drops were still big enough to move the flowers, it was windy, and with the cloud cover, it was dark. But I put that closeup filter on, cranked up the ISO, and tried anyway. Out of a dozen or so shots, these were the clearest.

Really like that second shot QO. Quite sharp, especially with high ISO, and less than favourable conditions. Very well executed.

Thank you. The colors do work, though I may take a second pass at these. The grasshopper was a brighter, cooler green, which is why I spotted it to begin with. I'm still fiddling with processing settings. But I'm glad to have pulled anything out of the shots I took.
