Thanks gang! Pond Inlet is a cool place (pun intended). I always like to shoot the dogs up north. The seem hardier.
It looked to me like an old barge. Not sure what that navy thing looks like.

These are good images that are difficult for some animal lovers to look at....
Only an animal lover who doesn't understand the use of dog teams in the arctic. Nearly worth their weight in gold, these dogs are very well treated and any good team dog loves what it does and so it isn't exactly slavery. Excellent portraits all.
Very nice images in this thread. I'm one of the ignorant that would like to see some of those dogs with a bit more room to breathe though.
