Finally...

...a Meadowlark. I have been trying for ages to get close enough for a decent capture of these elusive, (for me anyway), birds.

I remember when I was a kid growing up in the prairies, walking threw the wheat and hearing the meadowlarks calls

The background was a nice dead grass field, so I moved car along road until it was lined up just right, as the other field next to it was plowed dirt. (Yeah, I know, another out the car window shot:shrug:)
