Threatened Species

Got a few shots of these Black Terns, which are a threatened species Federally in Canada, and endangered in many Northeast States.
They are actually almost all black when Fall rolls around, till Spring.

What a graceful flier! Nice set, HBGirl! It makes me sad to hear about endangered species, and especially when its a bird that is endangered.

the feather arrangement in the second one is mesmerizing. congrats on getting them so perfectly.

Stunning set. Capturing any bird in flight is a feat all to itself, but capturing them that well is rare. Eyecandy.
