Lovely detail in these macros, HBG. What a really interesting "pose" in the first shot.
Thanks Iggy, and yes I liked the pose, but I put a hint in the thread, as this is a "Yellow Crab Spider". They move sideways like a crab, and hold out their legs in front, like a crab does its claws, also.

Fantastic detail and great colour ... how the heck do YOU deal with DoF? If I try this, I don't get the sharpness throughout .... mybe I should get a shorter macro ( i have the Sigma 150mm) or just go further away and then crop? These are superb.
Thank you Matt. These were all shot at f16, with flash, from a distance of approx.12cm.
The Canon 100mm f2.8L IS Macro lens I am using, is rated as one of the sharpest made. (kinda helps also).
