Bee...utiful shot Mad Aussie :D
this bee got interrupted...
Lol, cool shots. :)
And cool to see people adding shots to my thread ... I always encourage that http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/S.../2thumbsup.gif
I always shyed away from adding my pictures to other peoples threads. It seems like thread hijacking to me. It is good to hear your opinion on that.
I think that's a good way to be until you know if someone minds or not.
Frankly for me, I don't care when or where you critique my photos and if people join in my threads and start whacking up photos then cool ... more action for the forum http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/S.../2thumbsup.gif
Bee nice to see more good work like this!
great shots! Last summer, I tried so hard to capture the little critters - most often the outcome was a blurry mess....it is a lot harder than it looks!
they are hard to capture, the busy little bees... this guy was loading his hind legs up with sticky purple pollen in my backyard last summer.
and this tree in my backyard is FILLED with bees when in bloom. for about a week, its a crazy loud buzz all day back there.... these were shot with my sony h5 p&s, so sorry for the fuzzzzziness. (& sorry for filling up your thread M.A :o)
I Beelieve I can contribute to this thread...
Not my thread anymore Kiley ;) Fill away!
Looks like Travis has either macro lens or very nice close up technique.
Gee, I never thought about that
Lucky Mad Aussie is cool with this. It just seemed to be a bit of good fun on the thread, and it looks like others agree. (thanks for starting a good thread Mad Aussie) lots of BEE shots and comments.
Bee kind! (couldn't resist!) :goodvibes
Posted as a link due to image size. Taken on a walkabout in Chennia, Crete, last summer.
I think typically one would only add another photo for an educational purpose. IMO shouldn't really matter in the Show Your Photo forum.... it's sortofa lighter area...
maybe not in critiques but then again we are a pretty tight bunch... I can't really see anyones nose getting outta joint....
Travis, your shots make bees look like little cuddly things. Great detail!
Bee-tween you all and me..I'm scared to death of the critters. The only shot I have of one and trust me..it took all my nerve to get as close as I did. Great laugh for my husband watching me... :D
My "bee" attempt this past summer out at my Mum's...
Cool ...thanks for adding Casil!
