Thank you !
Gorgeous!
These look great! I like the isolation of the subject you have in 1, 2 and 4 shots
I absolutely love the duck!!! But they are all great!
Fantastic !!! I wish I could have the clarity in my shots that you do... how do you do that????
Thanks everyone! To get these images this clear I start with either an Olympus E-3 or 510 set to RAW format. These two cameras will deliver same quality images for the most part. Next I use a 70-300 mm Zuiko lens to get as close as I can to the subject. More often than not I will shoot pics like these at f5.6 because I like the DOF I get with this lens. Next step is to open them up in PS3 and see the results. Out of 100 pics I expect maybe 5 or so to be keepers. In PS3 I will do a manual levels adjustment til' all the tones are correct or as close as I can get them. Next I go into selective color adjustment and tweak colors so they're a tad stronger. Finally I will add a shot of unsharp mask to counteract the jpg fuzzies when I re size the file for the web. I like to shoot in good light when possible but I can't always wait for it...
I'll post a before and after for you in a sec:)
thanks, Michael! I will play when I get home!
Thanks! Guess it's time to get the manual out!!!
