Broken Road.
Situated at Castleton below Mam Tor in the Peak District, this road served as a main route for traffic between Sheffield and Manchester since 1802. It was closed in 1979 after a major landslip and it's now referred to as the 'broken road'. The land is now owned by the National Trust and it's considered an area of geographical interest.

I can see why. It is interesting. Reminds me of Hawaii the way roads are supplanted by nature. I like your composition with this one.

Cool shot. I agree that it's a nice composition.
There's a few roads that look like that in Newfoundland, Canada after Hurricane Igor drifted by and dropped 200mm of rain in less than 24 hours :eek:
