I like it. If it were mine, I'd get even closer and attempt strange angles. Keeping the same or similar DoF.

I did, the rest of the photos sucked. :( also with my current lens that's pretty much as close I can get and still focus.

I hate when that happens, but at least you gave it a go. Sounds like you need a macro lens, girl.

thanks WD. Yes, I agree- I think I would get good use out of a macro. But there's other things I need- like a new kitchen :)

Very cool shot Bambi. Love the detail and dof used. Really makes the wire jump right out of the photo at ya'.
