What version, if indeed any is best?

I concur. I think #1 has better color and definition. So that's what would make the difference for me.

Definitely number one for me too.

I kind of like the lighter shade in the first one, however I'm not too fussy with the red at the bottom of the clock.

Hard choice but on first glimpse, I choose the first as well.

Hey thanks Hillbillygirl. I try and create several versions to see just what works best with other viewers. For me, the slight red makes this version work ! Personally I like the second more antique version. Thanks again - jimmy
