Longlac #58 Church

I will be working near the town of Longlac for the next couple of weeks and have always wanted to photograph the old church on the nearby reserve. I got my wish.:) The church is a rather large structure situated on a point of land all by itself and has been abandoned and left in a state of disrepair for quite a while. As a result it has been condemed and closed up. Too bad. I'd love to get inside.
Outside in a small stand of trees is a statue that seems to have been maintained a little better than the church.

Not every day you find a condemned church! Cool find.

Cool old church...Seems to me I spent some time in Longlac in the 70's when I worked for CN as a gang cook.

Mlaw....if you were here on the trains in the 70's you were parked right across the hwy from this church!

Nice captures Aub, and has definitely seen better days hasn't it? As you, I would love to get inside though.
