Those look like some old cards!
Nice shot - I like the choice of background for that rustic feel
I like the concept, but did you ever think about upping the grain to make it look like an old film stile photo?
Really like concept here and I agree with belliveau to apply some vintage look.
Like the idea and the execution.
Very nicely composed shot, and also agree about the grain addition.
Thanks for commenting. Love the idea of adding grain. Here's my attempt:

I absolutely LOVE this image! It has a wonderfully "old-timey" feel.....
You happen to have 'feel free to edit my photos' on, so I hope you don't mind, I edited your shot using the snapseed app on my iPad.... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7247/7...bbde75b6f5.jpg

JR215: I like your version as well. I did consider sepia, but decided to stick with greyscale when I decided to keep the selective color of the diamonds. Thanks for the intriguing edit.
lol did almost the same thing as justin. i tryed to go with more of a warmer feel.

bellieveau: I really like this as well. Puts a lot of darker texture on the background and the cards themselves. I guess the options are infinite, which makes choosing one option very hard for me. Could always do a six or twelve panel of the same shot with various processing. Like Andy Warhol. Thanks for throwing yours into the mix.
that would be a cool idea. like a 3 to 12 or whatever size pannel from cool to warm or harsh to soft. so true there are so many ways you can go with this stuff. but hay thats why we are on forums like this to grow and expand our ideas.
