I love the colors, Marko. I am really ambivalent about people in shots with intentional camera movement. Part of me thinks it adds another dimension to the photo, but another part of me just finds it almost hard to look at for some reason. Same reaction I had to my own photo of a dog walker in Boston a couple of months ago. Maybe that discomfort is actually a good thing as it challenges us as viewers.
Love the colours and the comp, and I do like the ICM. As you asked for harsh - my one niggle is the green awning commanding too much attention IMO.
Very nice Marko. You are starting to develope a signature style with all camera movement shots.
I suspect that if there were anything questionable about the photograph we may never have seen it. A fabulous shot in my view.
Like the colors here, but I will have to agree with RM the green awning is in your face. Aside from that the persons clothing is drab and dark in such a vibrant scene. I would prefer someone with light, or colorful clothing.
Really appreciate the comments and I'm aware that this style isn't for all.

I also agree that someone less drab would have blended in better with the scene...this character changes the mood big time. But he adds mood and is a real character from the neighbourhood so I'm cool with it
Barefoot - I'm flattered, but like most people it's hard to be 100% objective about your own work.
It seems to act more as an anchor to me. I rather like the way the lighter shade of green transcends to shadow.Quote:

So, I have a tricky time with these ICM shots too, but this one I really like. The bright objects lead the eye to the drab dressed fellow. Hard to do but I wish he was the only person in the shot as it makes me feel lonely in a bright and cheery place. My only other thing is that I wish he was walking towards the camera rather than away.
