Spears

A few of you commented on the spears and shadows shot in the thread http://www.photography.ca/Forums/sho...9-shadows.html. Here is another shot of the same Australian aboriginal spears.

Cool lighting but I think I'd rather they were pointing up.

The actual scene had them hanging down from the ceiling, so I tried various orientations and preferred this one. Pointing up seemed a little static to me, but will have another look. What I haven't tried (and only just thought of) is diagonal or maybe even horizontal with them pointing up but split into a triptych???
