Whole Lotta Ice and some colour

A weekend getaway for my wife and I afforded some time to get down the northshore of Lake Superior in Minnisota

3. Nanabijou Lodge just north of Grand Marais. This colourful Grand Hall is sporting a 200 ton stone fireplace on the far wall. The largest stone fireplace in MN, it was built using the rocks from the very shoreline upon which it is built.

That is some serious ice. Hope you don't me saying, but I would consider a levels play in the first shot just to lift the whites a bit.

I would hate to wake up with a hangover in the Grand Hall. Striking colour and well made.
