Was this upside down shot or neck deep in water?

At first look I liked the image, the strange icicles spoke to me, then I looked again and I saw the geese back there, and I like it even more. I love when there's new stuff to discover each time I look at a photo.

Wonderful images. I like them all but number 2 is my favourite. The ducks are the story but the icy pier adds narrative.
